Vice Chair, Pediatric Anesthesiology


The Division of Pediatric Anesthesiology provides perioperative care
for more than 23,000 patients annually while the Division of Pediatric Cardiac Anesthesiology is the 9th busiest in the nation for pediatric cardiac surgeries. The Vice Chair of Pediatric Anesthesiology will oversee both divisions and be responsible for the enhancement of the perioperative experience, guided by quality and safety initiatives, efficiency, and patient-­‐centered care at Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt. 

We are seeking a nationally recognized academic leaders with outstanding clinical acumen, excellence in education and research, and proven leadership skills, to effectively inspire, manage, and develop faculty and staff, and to lead through a period of clinical and academic growth.

All candidates should be Board-­‐certified in Anesthesiology, qualify for the rank of Associate Professor or Professor, and be eligible for a license to practice medicine in the state of Tennessee.
