The Department of Pathology at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston is recruiting a Surgical Pathologist with strong diagnostic expertise and research ability to join the Section of Breast Pathology and/or Cytopathology. This faculty position will support diagnostic cytopathology/breast service and other services including frozen section and autopsy coverage. Successful candidate must have a strong record of scholarship and commitment to teaching at the fellowship level. Candidate must have a strong interest in independent or collaborative research with clinicians and basic science investigators.
Board certification in Anatomic Pathology, with Cytopathology and/or Breast training, and an active Texas medical license or eligibility are required. Special consideration will be given to candidate with additional training in molecular genetic pathology and another subspecialty. For Assistant Professor, at least 2 years of experience as Instructor or 5 years post degree with any combination of time as a clinician, clinical scientist, or GME trainee. Rank and salary commensurate with experience and academic credentials. Excellent benefits package will be provided.
