The Department of Anesthesiology and Critical Care Medicine at John Hopkins Medicine is seeking a neurointensivist at the Associate Professor level with fellowship training and experience in specialized Neurocritical Care, research and education. The candidate should be skilled in providing medical management of adult neurointensive care patients and oversight of practitioners in a tertiary referral center. Clinical activities include postoperative neurosurgical care including spine surgery as well as management of stroke patients after interventional endovascular therapies. The candidate will teach and supervise fellows, residents, and students with the help of simulation technology. Competency in all critical care procedures, EEG interpretation, critical care ultrasound, and certification in transcranial Doppler ultrasonography is required. Research background in basic/ clinical neuroscience and clinical trials experience using advanced computerized techniques in neuroimaging, as evidenced by publications and the acquisition of funding is required. Expected salary is $ 120,000.00 to $ 160,000.00.
