Rutgers, New Jersey Medical School, Department of Cell Biology and Molecular Medicine is searching for a mouse/rat surgeon. The primary purpose of this position is to perform surgery and invasive procedures on mice and rats in support of approved research protocols on small animals, with a special emphasis on mouse hearts. Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant science. Prior research experience an asset. Preferably, three (3) years of experience performing mouse/rat surgery and invasive procedures and the ability to study mouse hearts required but candidates with an equivalent combination of training and experience will be considered.
