Indiana University Health and Indiana University School of Medicine seek an outstanding transformational leader with excellent academic and clinical
expertise and a demonstrated commitment to upholding our core values including promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion to serve as Director for the Center for Neurovascular Disease for the IUH/IUSM Neurosciences Institute.
In addition to upholding the core values of IUSM and IUH, the Director of the Center for Neurovascular Disease will provide oversight, direction, and vision for growth for neurovascular clinical care, research, and education. This includes but is not limited to the following:
❍ Implement the strategic plan for the Center
❍ Provide operational oversight for matters related to the center, e.g.
◆ Guidance on space and other physical infrastructure needs
◆ Personnel needs
◆ Equipment needs and prioritization
◆ Enhance Clinical Care Delivery System-Wide
◆ Provide Directional Oversight and Feedback to NSI on Education and Research
Joint Appointment in Neurological Surgery, Neurology, Radiology, and/or Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation
◆ Qualifications
❍ ABMS-Specialty Board Certification in Primary Specialty
❍ Eligible for Appointment as Professor with Tenure
❍ Other leadership opportunities in the Institution
❍ National or International Reputation
◆ Leader in systems of care for neurovascular disease and/or
◆ Extensive clinical expertise in neurovascular disease and/or
◆ Track record of advanced research in neurovascular disease
