Contact Dermatitis Specialist

Department of Dermatology, Brigham and Women’s Hospital

The Department of Dermatology at Brigham and Women’s Hospital (BWH) is seeking an experienced, board certified dermatologist with special expertise in contact dermatitis and patch testing to join our robust Contact Dermatitis Program. This is an exciting opportunity to join one of the best homes for academic dermatologists in the country, located in the unique metropolitan Boston area. BWH Dermatology is widely recognized for its world class academic and collegial environment, outstanding clinical care of complex patients, and innovative clinically relevant research.

Potential opportunities include teaching fellows and residents in a variety of settings, interacting with colleagues in medical dermatology and other dermatology subspecialties, developing your own area of expertise within dermatology, and participating in clinical, translational, and/or basic science research. With access to world renowned services in other areas of medicine, surgery and imaging, our physicians have had great success in creating their own niche, building on examples of our thriving interdisciplinary collaborations, including Complex Medical Dermatology, Dermatology/Rheumatology, Cutaneous Oncology, and many others. Our faculty enjoy the benefits of working in an extremely collegial environment within a prestigious healthcare system. The ideal candidate brings enthusiasm and excitement for academic dermatology and seeks to create new knowledge in the field. Individuals from backgrounds identified as underrepresented in medicine are strongly encouraged to consider this opportunity.

The BWH Department of Dermatology is an appointing department for the Harvard Medical School Department of Dermatology. Physicians hired will receive faculty appointments from both Brigham and Women’s Hospital and Harvard Medical School. The candidate would be considered for an academic rank of Instructor, Assistant Professor, or Associate Professor at Harvard Medical School commensurate with experience, achievement, recognition, and teaching.

Interested candidates please submit curriculum vitae to Thomas S. Kupper, M.D., Chairman, Department of Dermatology, Brigham and Women’s Hospital. Please send submissions via email to bwhderm@bwh.harvard.edu.
