Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, a major teaching hospital for Harvard Medical School (HMS), seeks applications and nominations for the position of Chair of the Carl J. Shapiro Department of Orthopedic Surgery with an academic appointment as Professor of Orthopedic Surgery at HMS.

 

We are seeking an accomplished clinician-scholar with excellent leadership and mentoring skills and a record of accomplishment in areas such as clinical innovation, research, teaching and advocacy. Suitable candidates will have an MD or MD/PhD degree and be certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery. Academic credentials should be of sufficient strength to warrant an appointment as Professor at Harvard Medical School.
