Marian Regional Medical Center is seeking an Associate Program Director for the Ob/GYN residency program on the beautiful Central Coast of California!
Position Summary:
The Obstetrics and Gynecology Residency Associate Program Director (APD) participates as a full time core faculty member, assisting the program director in the development of the programs educational strategic goals and research activities. The APD coordinates curriculum development, resident evaluations, develops learning plans and creates remediation processes, participates in medical student recruitment, engages in grant project development, promotes and oversees resident scholarly activities, and assists the DIO in residency budget planning and program policy development.
Qualifications Minimum:
Prior clinical and academic experience to ensure effective implementation of the ACGME Program Requirements. Knowledge of, experience with OB/GYN as a discipline, and training of residents. Preferred Experience/Desired: Management experience preferred. Current California MD or DO license, valid and unrestricted United States Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) registration and member in good standing of hospital's Medical Staff required.

Marian Regional Medical Center (MRMC), is a Level III Trauma Center in Santa Maria, CA. Marian Regional Medical Center’s state of the art facility births nearly 3,000 babies annually. MRMC offers 42 labor, delivery and recovery rooms in addition to a 21 bed Level III NICU. MRMC provides 24 hour OB Hospitalist coverage as well as Pediatric hospitalist service. MRMC established an ACGME – accredited residency training program in 2018.
