Associate Professor, Term Tenure Track 

The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center, Department of Surgical Oncology, has a faculty position available for a Term Tenure/Term Tenure Track Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, Open Rank in the Melanoma Surgery Section of the Department of Surgical Oncology. The selected candidate will be responsible for providing both clinical expertise in patient care and an appropriate teaching environment for fellows, residents, and students in the primary specialty area of Melanoma. Key duties include surgical care for patients with melanoma and non-melanoma cutaneous malignancies in a multidisciplinary setting. The faculty member is responsible for maintaining the existing programmatic excellence of an integrated melanoma program. The ideal candidate would be recognized as a regional/ national/ international leader in melanoma surgical oncology, provide teaching in integrated programs in the surgical sciences, and demonstrate academic focus through clinical or basic science research. Qualified candidates will have an MD degree, will have completed an ACGME general surgery residency and a fellowship in Surgical Oncology, and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.
