Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia and the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seek candidates for an Assistant Professor position in the non-tenure clinician educator track.
Expertise is required in the specific area of Pediatric Orthopaedic Surgery. Applicants must have an M.D or M.D./Ph.D. degree. Must be certified/board eligible by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery.
Teaching responsibilities may include participation in the clinical education of medical students, residents and fellows.
Clinical responsibilities may include providing outpatient and inpatient consultative services.
Research or scholarship responsibilities may include clinical or orthopaedic basic science research and will be dependent on the candidate’s interests and independent support.
Evidence of scholarship is required for the Clinician-Educator track.
