Assistant Professor – Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology & Reproductive Sciences, Obstetrics Division


The Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology & Reproductive Sciences is seeking outstanding applicants for a full-time appointment at the rank of Assistant Professor in the Clinical or Clinician-Educator track for our Obstetrics Division. The applicants are required to be Board certified/eligible in general obstetrics and gynecology, have superior surgical and operative vaginal delivery skills and demonstrated excellence in evidence-based obstetric care and teaching. The Vidone Birthing Center at Yale-New Haven Hospital fosters a collaborative model of obstetrics and midwifery, offering intermittent auscultation, nitrous oxide, water immersion, and gentle cesarean. Experience in collaborating with certified nurse midwives and training residents is preferred.
