Anesthesiology, Perioperative & Pain Medicine

The Department of Anesthesiology, Perioperative and Pain Medicine at Stanford University seeks MD/DO/or foreign equivalent board certified anesthesiologist to join the Department as Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor in the Medical Center Line.

  • The major criteria for appointment for faculty in the Medical Center Line shall be excellence in the overall mix of clinical care, clinical teaching, scholarly activity that advances clinical medicine and institutional service appropriate to the programmatic need the individual is expected to fulfill.

Faculty rank will be determined by the qualifications and experience of the successful candidate. The successful applicant should have developed or have the potential to develop an academic program relevant to the field of anesthesia. The successful applicant will spend a portion of time in clinical anesthesia.
