The Division of Pediatric Neurology in the Department of Pediatrics, University of Utah School of Medicine is seeking a Pediatric Neurologist/Pediatric Neuromuscular Specialist to be part of a thriving academic/clinical team.  The physician will provide subspecialty patient care in inpatient and outpatient pediatric neurology settings with clinical duties comprising up to 80% of the individual’s time commitment.  The total clinical commitment will depend on the individual’s career goals and funding potential of non-clinical (clinical/translational research and educational) activities.  

Clinical activities will take place at Primary Children’s Hospital, the Clinical Neurosciences Center, Riverton Hospital, other practice facilities and may entail limited outreach clinics. The Division maintains specialty interests in a variety of pediatric and developmental neurological conditions including neuromuscular, stroke and vascular disease, movement disorders, epilepsy, and functional neuroimaging.

Qualified candidates must be Board Qualified/Board Certified in Pediatrics and in Neurology with Specialization in Child Neurology, and must have subspecialty training in Pediatric Neuromuscular Diseases.  Expertise in Electrodiagnosis (EMG/NCV) is preferred.  The selected candidate will receive a faculty appointment in the Department of Pediatrics on the Clinical or Tenure track at the academic level commensurate with experience and qualifications.
