The Department of Anesthesiology is seeking an enthusiastic Division Chief for Adult Surgical and Cardiothoracic Intensive Care Medicine for an open rank faculty position. The Division Chief will hold a leadership position in the Department and in the institution leading our team of Anesthesiologists working alongside surgical intensivists in our closed unit ICUs. A component of the position will involve administration of general anesthesia care in the main operating rooms and elsewhere on our Healthcare system campus. UNC is a leader among healthcare organizations in clinical care, research and education. The Division Chief will be responsible for leading the Division in this three-part mission.
